Semi Peppered&Inter:Mission are coming together to present to you an evening of Art & Music. The theme of the night will be Empty Spaces, with responses coming from visual artists and musicians.
Inter:Mission will be bringing together some of their favourite Bristol artists to explore the theme of ‘Empty Spaces’. Expect to see some thought provoking, fantastical art occupying the back rooms and basement of the 123 Space.
The exhibition will feature work from the following:
Daniel Delikatnyi
Hetty Mahlich
Jaydon Moller-Clarke
Dylan Woodall
Kimi Zoet
more TBA
In the basement, there will be a curation of visual artists using the space to project and screen their responses to the brief.
In the cafe, live music will present the soundtrack to the exhibition, with contemporary musicians, bands, and producers, combining with the Semi Peppered DJs to further accentuate the idea of 'Empty Spaces'.
The line up will consist of:
Robbie McDonald
A self-taught, neo-classical pianist, Robbie will use a combination of vocals, loops, and pads to create a backdrop of sound in response to the idea of empty spaces.
Jambi
Jambi are a 4-piece psychedelic jazz-funk group consisting of Marko Cubric, Brook Plumptre, Charlie Forrest, and Simon Niang. Having recently performed at The Arts House Cafe's infamous basement, and the top floor of Noche Negra, few people will already be accustomed to the groups entrancing free-form experimental style.
Donnagan
An engaging master of percussion, Donnagan will be armed with an experimental approach to a live, hardware set of atmospheric synth-lines and distant drums, responding to the brief with an ambient rendition of his idea of empty spaces.
Filling in the gaps will be the trusty Semi Peppered DJs.
Entry is £3 online on FIXR and £5 OTD.
The space is limited so please buy online to guarantee entry.
